A baby girl’s first birthday is definitely a big deal. We all know that it doesn’t take much for a little baby girl to attract others attention. All it takes is a cute smile and her natural magnetism is able to attract and put a smile on the most serious individuals.

 This little doll was custom ordered for a little girl's first birthday.

Little Princess

A little princess,
from a far off place,
You light up the room,
with your little cute face.

Meet Baby Belle, Dinky Baby

This little girl is about 15 in. tall. She has been lovingly handmade by me using soft craft velour and stuffed with quality polyfill. Her blue eyes are hand embroidered and she has extremly soft brown yarn hair. This little girl has hand sculpted details which includes an "outie" belly button and bottom. She is not jointed. Her arms and legs are open bent ready for a hug or to be swaddled in a blanket. She is safe for smaller children and ready to be LOVED for many years to come.

This little girl will be adopted with magnetic pacifier, a pink hairbow, a new store bought preemie sleeper, cloth doll diaper, and lots of love. ♥

I strive for quality in all my work. Most threads are enclosed inside the doll's body for a more finished look. Although surface washing is best, she can be machine washed--put inside a pillowcase and tie it gently around her. Wash in cold water on the handwash cycle, then air dry. Once dry, blush her cheeks, bottom and belly button.

Due to the nature of the hair and the small parts with the magetic pacifer not recommended for children under three.

A Different Kind of Art Show



Meet Opie

I am going to enter Opie into an art show this is a “A Different Kind of Show” at The Art Sanctuary in Martinsville, IN 46151

Why is it different? Because this show is for the love of art. Emphasis will not be on how you placed, but on the art itself. And, instead of a judge, the artists themselves will choose who receives the awards. There will be a party at pick-up for peer voting and to honor the art and artists. It will be a rare, fun opportunity to meet other artists and get to know more about them.

Submissions: Any artist 18 years of age and older no matter what medium is eligible. We are accepting all media: paintings drawings, photography, pottery, jewelry, china, sculpture, textile arts (such as weaving, original sewing projects}, mixed media, assemblage art, digital art, wood carving etc.

Entries submitted to “A Different Kind of Show” will be voted on by their peers for Best of Show, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards. Only artists who submitted a piece to the show will be able to vote for their favorite work of art. Prize money will depend on the number of entries so invite all your artist friends to submit entries to the show.


Show Opening: April 13, 2012 from 6p.m. to 9p.m in the main gallery of the Art Sanctuary. This is also 2nd Friday Open Studios from 6-9 pm.

Need more paper ' for Santa's letter? I wasn't so bad ' but I've been better.

Crackerjack and DinkyBabies

I am so happy to be part of the Dinky Baby family.  Dinky Babies are going to play a role in the upcoming film Crackerjack! With Jeff Foxworthy as the executive producer, this film promises to be a great family movie. For all the details, visit the Crackerjack website.

Everyone is doing it!

Hello, to blog #2.  Hopefully, this blog will not have the same fate as my first blog.... deleted!  Let me explain.  I hate to write.  I'm not good at it.  I am more of a black and white kind of person.  It is either right or wrong.  I don't see grey,  so to write a long beautifully written article on a flower bloom, my day to day life, politics or my thoughts is just not my style.  I am more of a one-liner kind of gal.
Why start another blog? I am really not sure.  I just feel like I am missing out on something, because "everyone is doing it".  If you want to read a poorly written, short, uninteresting, nondescriptive blog, please follow me. I promise you will not be disappointed :-)
